Riva is not available for breeding anymore, but he sired four litters before his PRA diagnosis. All of his offspring are PRA carriers but, since the prcd-type PRA that Riva has is recessive, they will not be affected and develop PRA. However, if they are ever bred they must be mated only with genetested clear, non-carriers for PRA.
