It’s time to face the fact that PRA is starting to affect Riva and his competition career is coming to an end.
We went to our first search trial this year. Unfortunately we didn’t qualify, mostly due to handler mistakes, Riva did his best (and a whole lot of running!). Obedience was not bad, 82/100.

Täytyy tunnustaa etten ole perehtynyt miten nämä sijoitukset lasketaan, mutta sijalle 14 ollaan vaakkujen kanssa päästy. Ja Riva saa kuvansa Aussie Timesiin

I have to admit I have no clue how these merit placements are calculated, but it is pretty cool to get a placement with the amount of ASCA trialing we do. And Riva will get his picture in the Aussie Times
The long awaited ASCA trial in Kitee was August 6th to 8th. Judges were Mike Trembley and Marie Murphy.
Long story short: Riva had four cattle runs and three duck runs. We qualified in one advanced duck run, one open cattle run (-> finishing title OTDc) and even in his first ever advanced cattle run with 96 points! Back when I started with him I never even dreamed we would get this far, he is now just two Qs from his ASCA WTCH. <3 Riva <3
Also Bardi trialed, he got his second qualifying run in started sheep class and finished his STDs title! He is so different from Riva, handling him is quite relaxing.
