Riva’s second litter was born today. Eight puppies, four boys and four girls and one red each. And lots of NBTs, only one full tail in the whole bunch!

Riva and Lissu finally got one puppy December 5th, a BIG girl. You can see some pictures of the little butterball at the Ghosteye’s page. She was a big puppy already at birth and being the only puppy and her mother’s pride and joy, she is thriving. Actually so well that the vet suggested that her feeding is restricted a bit.

Meanwhile I went to the Winner-06 show with Riva and Bardi. Riva placed third in open class with EXC, which was all I was hoping for since everybody in Finnish aussies was there.

We have been having a very strange fall/winter. Snow and frost came, and went and after that it has been very warm, no ice and snow. Inspired by that, I have been tracking with both boys an a regular basis until now. Both are doing well and I was quite surprised by Riva. I haven’t done tracking with all that much, some food squares when he was a puppy but that is all. He is a natural tracker!
